Seeking a Commercially-Astute, Data-Savvy Intern

We are Savvy Marketing. We’re a small but awesome Cape Town-based digital marketing agency delivering communication that gets results for some wonderful clients. We’re small (just 8 of us), but we’re going to fly and we want someone to fly with us.

We are looking for a bright, curious career-driven Google Ads Intern to help our team deliver its excellent campaigns effectively.

This is a full-time remote role for a Google Ads Intern at Savvy Marketing. The right candidate will be responsible for implementing digital marketing strategies through Google Ads accounts, some TikTok ads and Google Analytics. This role involves working closely with the marketing team and communicating with clients.

Skills Required

• Analytical with the ability to make sense of large amounts of data
• Commercial acumen – an understanding of business and marketing strategies
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel or Google sheets
• A problem solver, particularly with commercial and technical issues.
• Understanding HTML and WordPress is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Super-organised in personal and work life.
• Fast learner, particularly with technical skills.
• Google Ads or Analytics Certifications an advantage

Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate – passed Standard Maths
• A Marketing, Business or Technical Degree or diploma or a Degree with an additional Marketing Qualification

This is a full-time 6-month contract position, mostly remote with occasional meetings in Cape Town. There is a potential for a permanent role.
