Savvy Social Media Intern

We are Savvy Marketing. We’re a small but awesome Cape Town-based digital marketing agency delivering communication that gets results for some wonderful clients. We’re small (just 8 of us), but we’re going to fly and we want someone to fly with us.

We are looking for a bright, curious career driven Social Media Intern to help our team deliver its excellent campaigns effectively.

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Intern at Savvy Marketing. The right candidate will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating engaging social media content, implementing digital marketing strategies, and communicating with clients. This role involves working closely with the marketing team to execute social media campaigns and analyse their performance.

Skills Required

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Numerate with a basic knowledge of analytics and reporting.
• Experience with graphic design and content creation tools.
• Super-organised in personal and work life.
• Fast learner, particularly with technical skills.

Already ‘Out there’ connecting and creating on social media.

• Interested and engaged in the world around you.
• BUT you’re not an influencer, this is a full time role, any launches or shoots need to be in your own time.

Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate – passed Standard Maths
• Degree or diploma in Marketing or a Degree and a Marketing Qualification

This is a full-time 6-month contract position, mostly remote with occasional meetings in Cape Town. There is a potential for a permanent role.
